Aluminium corrugated panels
Corrugated panels are lightweight panels made of two aluminium or galvanised iron sheets and a continuously formed aluminium core.
The thickness of the outer sheets can vary according to requirements, from a minimum of 5/10 to a maximum of 20/10.
This panel was created for requirements typical for the naval and railway sectors, where there was a need to find strong, lightweight and low fire load construction solutions.
This gave rise to various types of corrugated products in both our domestic and international markets, including those used by Logica, specifically Doluflex and Staluflex.
Corrugated panels have multiple technical characteristics. They are very resistant to bending even in low to medium thicknesses, as well as very light, weighing approximately 6.5 kg per square metre.
They can be made in different formats, even up to 4 m in length. They can be coated and ennobled with wood, HPL, resins, paints, acrylics, stainless steel or other metals.
Their use, especially in the naval sector, make them one of the most highly sought panels in this industry: many ship parts are built with them, including ceilings, walls, doors and partitions of mobile balconies.
Constructed with the appropriate aluminium alloys and paints, they are also suitable for outdoor use as cladding for tunnels, ventilated façades, furniture and outdoor kitchens.
This panel has fire resistance and MED certification for naval use.
